welcome

We are so excited to have you join us on this journey.

Riding, like life, doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful. So embrace dirty boots and smelling like a horse. Embrace the challenges life will throw at you. And know that you are capable.

You can do hard things. You were built to do hard things. Some horses will test you. Some will teach you. And some will bring out the best in you. We hope you feel special and loved at the barn. And remember, no matter how bad your day is, there is always someone waiting for you at the barn.

what you'll learn

The Three Pillars

The 3 pillars of Bridle Up Hope are designed to help you increase hope, confidence, and resilience in your everyday life:
Mockup

1. Ride

You will learn to ride a horse and learn natural horsemanship through 14 private, 1.5 hour horse lessons with an instructor. You will be getting back to nature and soothing your soul in a saddle. Prior experience with horses is not required. Just wait, your horse will become your best friend!
Mockup

2. Learn

You will develop life skills through The 7 Habits® for Equestrians during your rides, but more importantly, how to apply these habits to your personal life. You will learn about self-awareness, relationship building, communication, confidence, and self-renewal.

3. Serve

You will give back by serving at least one hour each week. This entails feeding the horses, cleaning the stalls, and caring for the horses. After the 14-week experience, for every 10 hours of service, you earn a free riding lesson. You can continue serving and earning lessons forever.

“I think the most important thing that I learned is this: You don't have to be perfect, but don't give up. Keep trying. Keep working. Keep learning. Take a deep breath, adjust your grip on the reins, and try again.”

Take charge of your horse. Take charge of your life.

2

Begin with the End in Mind®

Have a plan for your ride. Have a plan for your life.

3

Put First Things First®

Prepare before you ride. Work before you play.

4

Think Win-Win®

5

Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood®

Synergize®

Become one with your horse. Work well with others.

7

Sharpen the Saw®

Nurture your horse. Nurture yourself: body, heart, mind, and soul.
