New Bridle Up Hope Trail Complete!

New Bridle Up Hope Trail Complete!

Our new Hoof & Boot (Horse & Hiker) Trail is completed! It was professionally built and developed by Trail Blazer and paid for by a generous grant. If you walk above the Miller Arena (the outdoor arena on the hill behind the barn), follow the signs to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Turn left and go about 30 yards and you will see the gate to the entrance to the new trail that is on the private property of the Bridle Up Hope Foundation. Its primary purpose is for the horseback riding lessons for our Bridle Up Hope participants.

The trail is also open to the public and hikers are welcome. It is a 2-mile loop, 5% grade incline, a zip-zag trail through scrub oak, briar rose bushes and wild snapdragon flowers, with several overlooks of the valley. It’s beautiful and peaceful.

For safety purposes, NO MOUNTAIN BIKES or MOTORIZED VEHICLES are allowed on the trail. NO hunting, fires, fireworks, overnight camping, littering or going off the trail. The trail closes at dusk and may be closed due to weather conditions.

Enjoy the trail as you Sharpen the Saw, nurturing your body, heart, mind and soul. Please take good care of the trail so we can continue to keep it open to the public.

The beautiful mountain property where the trail is located was graciously donated to Bridle Up Hope by DAVID & KATHRYN PIERCE of Alpine, Utah. Thank you Pierce Family!
