“Being a girl in this world can feel like you’re in a constant battle with impossible expectations. Remember middle school and high school when you felt like you had to be pretty, popular, athletic, skinny, and smart all at the same time? Well it’s not like the expectations change as we grow into adulthood. If we don’t dig ourselves out of the depths of comparison and expectations, it festers into deeper self-worth challenges when we’re grown women. So where do we find respite? Today we are joined by Michael Sean Covey who is going to tell us a unique way we may be able to regain that self-worth. Michael is the Executive Director of Bridle Up Hope, an organization that uses equestrian horse riding to help inspire hope, confidence, and resilience in young women."
